Once the tasks of the advisers of the Minister of the Italian cultural heritage in the U.S.. Elkann: “Necessary to consolidate relations with American museums”
Councilor Bondi Minister, Alain Elkann, at the end of his trip to the United States, said:
“In the discussions during the trip in several American museums, it was found as was rightly stated by the Minister Sandro Bondi, the need to consolidate in a more comprehensive long relationship existing between the Italian institutions and U.S. and open up new opportunities with other American museums. The interest in our country is always very high but it is necessary to have constant contact to understand the differing needs of each museum and maintain interpersonal relationships with a group of curators and directors who sit in rotation in different institutions. For this we thank the excellent work he performs on behalf of the Italian Government Fiac in New York, a private foundation whose mission to spread the art and culture in the United States and has already demonstrated excellent performance and which sits on the Minister for the material and cultural activities Italian pro tempore and Ambassador of Italy in Washington. Despite the economic crisis the American museums have shown their intereresse about the possibility of exhibitions, loans and cultural exchanges with our country. “
