An Italian every four recycles gifts recycles Christmas gifts
A survey of Contribuenti.it about how consumers will behave for Christmas gifts showed that Italians tend increasingly to recycle gifts, rising from 21% last year to 26% this year. A considerable increase of 5%. But why is recycling? 37% of the sample makes it out of habit, 34% for financial hardship, 14% for revenge for having last year received a gift that it is recycled, 10% to empty the closets and 5% for not having time to turn to stores.
The gifts are recycled because they were not suitable (15%), were duplicates (20%) or simply had not liked (65%).
So, tired of hiding the gift not welcome in lumber-room or at the bottom of the cabinet, the Italians have thought about recycling.
Here, according to the survey of Contribuenti.it - Association of Italian taxpayers, the top ten of the recycled gifts:
1. Panettone, pandoro and boxes of chocolates
2. Trinkets
3. wines and sparkling wines
4. baths and soap bars
5. Ties and necklaces
6. Headscarf and scarves
7. Christmas objects and candles
8. Clothing and objets for infants
9. Purses, wallets and key rings
10. Books and DVDs
“Faced with the collapse of purchasing power - says Vittorio Carlomagno president of Contribuenti.it Association of Italian taxpayers - Citizens react displays throughout the Italian creativity, the same as in other times has given prestige to the Made in Italy”.
“You just take care not to make ugly figures - continues Charlemagne - More than once that happened the same object is given back, after several steps, the same person through the technique of recycling of recycled”
